报告内容简介：
Beginning from the basic requirements for proper styles and formats targeted at IEEE or ACM conferences and journals, this talk will introduce some writing skills and guided practice which would help students to quickly improve literal presentation of scientific papers. Some issues that should be concerned by the authors will also be pointed out. The talk will be ended with a dissusion with the students attending the seminar.
报告人简介：
刘江川，加拿大西蒙佛雷泽大学（Simon Fraser University）计算机学院正教授，2017年被评为IEEE Fellow，2019年当选加拿大工程院院士。于1999年以优等荣誉毕业于清华大学计算机系，2003年于香港科技大学获得博士学位, 同年获得香港青年科学家奖，并加入香港中文大学计算机任助理教授。他是香港地区第一位微软学者，于2015年获得加拿大NSERC青年教授的最高奖项E.W.R. Steacie纪念奖，并在2017年获得香港科技大学计算机系首届杰出校友奖。他是IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking, IEEE Transactions on Big Data, IEEE Transactions on Multimedia等学术期刊的编委和IEEE Transactions on mobiles Computing的指导委员会委员。 他是IEEE INFOCOM 2021的程序委员会共同主席和INFOCOM 2024的大会共同主席。他曾获得首届IEEE INFOCOM Test of Time Paper Award (2015)以及IEEE ICDCS Distinguished Paper Award（2024), ACM TOMCCAP Nicolas D. Georganas Best Paper Award (2013)和 ACM Multimedia Best Paper Award (2012)。
